<p>To provide an overview of charting techniques and assist the student gain an understanding of various types used in analysis.</p>

<li>State the difference between working and presentation charts, and between intelligence and evidential charts.</li>
<li>Use the various charting conventions correctly when creating the different types of flow chart.</li>
<li>Create a style sheet.</li>

<li>Describe the matrices conventions.</li>
<li>Describe how matrices are used to assist in the construction of flow charts.</li>

<p>This course is suitable for analysts who have already successfully completed level 1 and 2 courses as it assumes that students are already familiar with the fundamental analysis issues, It would also be beneficial that the analyst has 6 months to 1 years further experience. An acquaintance with basic excel skills will also be helpful.</p>
<p>Instruction continues on from the level 2 course and several new topics are introduced including case analysis, problem solving and introduction to geographical profiling. Several case studies are introduced and students will have the opportunity to put their knowledge to the test in various practical exercises.</p>
